- Abstract
The two previous claim-based studies on I H. pylori i infection used either drug prescription data alone or both drug prescription data and diagnosis codes,2,3 indicating the importance of a specific treatment regimen in defining patients with I H. pylori i infection. In their recent correspondence regarding "Inverse association between I Helicobacter pylori i infection and atopic, skin, and autoimmune diseases: A nationwide population-based study in South Korea", Yasuma et al.1 expressed their concern regarding the potential misclassification of the I H. pylori i patients.
