- Abstract
The article presents information on the privileges of the journalists and the enactment of the Espionage Act by the Congress of the U.S. with respect to the protection of the freedom of speech under the First Amendment of the Constitution of the U.S. The judgement of the courts regarding the case of WikiLeaks was based on the Reporter's Privilege under the First Amendment. Information on the impact of media on the government secrets with respect to case of WikiLeaks is also presented.
