- Abstract
The article offers information on the application of the right to rescind or rescission right by the borrowers under the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) in the U.S. It reports that the TILA promotes the effective use of informed use of credit, protects the borrower's rescission right, and regulates creditors against all lending entities. It discusses the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFPBs) amicus briefs in relevance to the U.S. Supreme Court case Beach v. Ocwen Federal Bank.
