The article focuses on username jacking, the practice of stealing a celebrity's or notable person's name on an online social networking website. Information is provided on how celebrities such as former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and former baseball player Tony La Russa involved lawyers to obtain court judgments against imposters who use their names and likenesses on the Internet.
