- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of establishing measures for abused drugs. The author notes the use of drugs for pain management which are prescribed by general practice physicians to patients wherein in some cases are being abused, and lists the common abused drugs including tramadol, dihydrocodeine, and oxycodone. Furthermore, the author also notes the importance of teaching medical students on the dangers of addictive medications.
