- Abstract
A literary criticism of the poem “Theogony" by Hesiod is presented. It outlines the origins of Greek gods and explores the concept of succession revolving around several myths like Prometheus myth. It examines a threat to the Greek god Zeus and discusses the characters like Kronos and Titans. Several verses from the poem are also noted.
