Post-Traumatic Tress Disorder: Obama, Palin and Marie-Antoinette.
- Authors
Weissmann, Gerald
- Abstract
The article focuses on the effect of stress on hair. It mentions that folicular stress is apparently evident in U.S. President Barack Obama and former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin. It is said that the most celebrated follicular turnover due to life-threatening stress is that of Queen Marie-Antoinette of France whose scalp hair allegedly turned white after being condemned to death in 1793. It discusses how oxidative and not political stress results to the graying of hair.
