- Abstract
The article presents the author's views on the evolution of the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and its contributions to biomedical science and research. The author believes that the success of the NIH should be attributed to its management, the peer review system as well as support given by government for research. He states that unlimited resources are available to budding scientists at the NIH.
