- Title
FAITH IS FUNDAMENTAL TO ENDING DOMESTIC TERROR.
- Authors
Fortune, Marie M.
- Abstract
The author emphasizes a theology of empowerment by articulating faith communities that provides women domestic violence victims with sources for strength rather than sources for endurance. She informs that interpretation of several religious teachings including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, poses a fix and a useful source. Faith Trust Institute, a multi-faith education organization, drafted a national declaration to insure safety and healing for victims and victimizers' accountability.
