- Abstract
The Spring 2024 issue of Landscape Journal contains six articles and four book reviews. The first two articles focus on urban parks in cities with unique cultural histories and socioecological contexts. One article examines the historical effects of park segregation and unequal investment on current park design in Montgomery, AL, raising social justice questions. The second article analyzes the modifications made to parks in Merida, Mexico during the Covid-19 pandemic and critiques the decision-making process. The next two articles explore green infrastructure design and communication, while the final two articles discuss academic policies and practices that influence curriculum design and gender equality in landscape architecture programs. The issue also includes book reviews by expert reviewers.
