- Abstract
The article titled "Effectiveness of a postural hygiene educational plan in an educational institution in Sincelejo 2023-1" presents a study on the effectiveness of a postural hygiene educational plan in an educational institution in Sincelejo. The authors of the study are Ilker Lozano Villegas, Camila Munzon Ricardo, Elizabeth Acero Sánchez, Jenyfer Cisneros Sarmiento, María José Celins Romero, Ana María Moreno Meza, and Rafael Lambraño Pineda. The objective of the study is to determine the prevalence of hepatorenal syndrome in patients with hepatic cirrhosis treated at a university hospital in Colombia. The results show that the prevalence of hepatorenal syndrome was 5.2%, with a minimum age of 28 years and a maximum age of 89 years. Most of the patients were males, and the most frequent complication was coagulopathy. As for the second article, titled "Contributions of psychology in Colombia on suicide in different communities of the country," an analysis is carried out on the contributions made in Colombia in the last ten years on suicide from the perspective of psychology. Different triggering factors for suicide were identified in different communities, such as conflict in territories, social segmentation, and food insecurity. However, it is observed that most of the work focuses on white and mestizo populations, while there is a lack of research in indigenous, Afro, and Palenquera communities.
