- Abstract
The article offers information on the study regarding the toxicity of heterocyclic nitrogen compounds and its effect to Daphnia pulex. It states that the heterocyclic nitrogen compounds that were used in the study include nicotine, pyridine, and andisoxanthopterin and culturing and bioassay were applied. It mentions that the compounds range from highly toxic to moderately toxic. It says that the compounds affect the response of the organism to competition and predation.
