- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of a study conducted by Curtis Harris and colleagues about the biological function of microRNA molecular profiles in lung cancer diagnosis and prognosis. The authors found that lung cancers have unique miRNA-expression profiles that differentiate them from normal lung tissue and correlate with patient survival. They conclude that additional studies are needed to confirm the targets of miRNA and elucidate their function in lung carcinogenesis.
