The article describes the case of an older man who developed severe retinopathy and optic neuropathy caused by a wasp sting. The patient reported pain and visual disturbance after a wasp sting in the cornea. He received vancomycin, ceftazidime and prednisolone acetate as treatments. He had no pain after the treatment but lost his vision permanently.
