- Abstract
This article provides information on several methods and information resources used in industrial research, as of April 1983. They include investigating issues in social research on work, industry and labor from about 1945 to the present, an annotated bibliography of industrial welfare activities between 1880 and 1940, a paper describing several cases in which knowledge about various aspects of human resources management has been available, and an investigation of statistical sources of persistent biases in BLS gross flow data on movements between employment and unemployment and movement out of the labor force.
