- Abstract
This article examines the bargaining outcomes of a sample of units negotiating with the federal government in Canada. Four dependent variables were examined, including the minimum annual salary for the occupational unit, the percent change in the minimum annual salary from one round of negotiations to the next, the level of non-wage bargaining outcomes and the percent change in nonwage bargaining outcomes from one round of negotiations to the next. A preliminary analysis of the non-wage bargaining outcomes dependent variable was conducted prior to estimating the regressions. The growth and development of industrial relations system has been described with the help of the addition of a longitudinal dimension.
