- Abstract
The article reports that NLST (National Lung Screening Trial) demonstrated that low-dose computed tomographic (LDCT) lung cancer screening (LCS) resulted in a several percentage relative reduction in lung cancer–specific mortality. Topics include considered that low adherence to follow-up may decrease benefits of longitudinal screening and lead to delayed detection and evaluation of incident lung cancers.
