- Authors
Hampe, Arndt; Petit, Rémy J.
- Abstract
The article focuses on trait correlations in nonvascular plants. It references the study conducted by Waite & Sack which explores on the morphological aspects of bryophytes. It states that Waite & Sack have studied 10 Hawaiian moss species from six families, and found out that among the six families, Dicranaceae and Fissidentaceae appeared to be phylogenetically close, and apart from the others. Meanwhile, it mentions that bryophytes and vascular plants both have similarities and differences, citing that bryophytes are smaller than vascular plants.
