- Abstract
The author reflects on the impact of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity on the ecumenical movement as it celebrates its 100th anniversary and how it is perceived and understood at present. He asserts that the Week of Prayer has played a significant role in overcoming demarcations and creating fellowship. He considers the Week of Prayer as a sign of the global dimension that binds the ecumenical fellowship together. He believes that the Week of Prayer strengthens trust in the quickening power and work of God's Spirit.
