- Abstract
In three-year field experiment, conducted from 2011 to 2013 on slightly acidic soil with a high abundance of nutrients, the concentration of copper and dynamics of this element uptake by three types of flax was studied. The dynamics of uptake was assessed by sampling of plants five times during the vegetation period in different stages of development, the copper content was determined by spectrophotometry atomic - absorption after prior mineralization. It was found that during the growing season dry matter yield of flax plants increased and len type I characterized by the largest ability in this area. In the aboveground parts large diversity in copper concentration has been demonstrated while there was no significant difference between the types of flax. Copper uptake increased simultaneously with plants growth and development and it was the highest at the end of the growing season. The greatest ability to uptake of copper was proved for flax type I and the other two types accumulated significantly less of the element.
