- Abstract
Likewise, the participants were divided into high EPQ-R-Neuroticism (EPQ-R-N; >=2) and low EPQ-R-N (<2) groups depending on the median of the EPQ-R-N score across participants. The independent I t i -test showed lower CES-D scores in the high (mean ± SD, 9.0 ± 5.7) than in the low modified-KTM group (10.2 ± 4.7; I P i < 0.001), and higher CES-D scores in the high (11.0 ± 6.4) than in the low EPQ-R-N group (9.0 ± 4.3; I P i < 0.001). A negative association was found between modified-KTM and CES-D scores, and a positive association was found between EPQ-R-N and CES-D scores, even after adjusting for the confounding effects of sociodemographic variables and the number of stressful life events.
