- Abstract
In the wool blending processes it is common to add quantitative amount of antistatic agents to reduce static electricity during the spinning process. However under conditions where the workshop humidity exceeds 85% (high humidity areas in the south), fibers tend, to adhere to the carding machine, reducing production efficiency were found in the mass production practice. To solve this problem, an experiment was designed to analyze the relationship between the amount of antistatic agent (FX-AS301) and workshop humidity* Ensure the same workshop temperature and. Other process parameters the difficulty of spinning y the physical indicators of the yarn and the pilling properties of the fabric under different antistatic agent dosage and humidity conditions were compared and. analyzed* The results show that when the mass fraction of antistatic agent is reduced, from 1. 0% to 0. 5% under different workshop humidity, the adhesion between fibers and components can be reduced; When the amount of antistatic agent is consistent (0. 5% or 1. 0%), the workshop humidity is 65% and. 75%, the yarn quality is Higher than the workshop humidity of 85%; When the workshop humidity is high (85%), reducing the amount of antistatic agent can improve yarn quality. This paper can guide spinning production in high humidity area control production cost and improve production efficiency.
