- Abstract
The article examines the gains in scientific literacy and self-efficacy of students from mentored research. The adapted scientific-literacy scale was aimed to show that chosen items could be administered in any discipline to evaluate gains in the ability of students to use data. It discusses the pilot project of the Georgia College and State University to develop a methodology to assess gains in scientific literary and self-efficacy by undergraduate students.
