The article explores the consequences of sexual offenses and inappropriate behavior in the workplace in the context of a healthcare practitioner in relation to their patients/clients. Topics covered include a look at the criminal law in New South Wales, the coverage of sexual offenses in the Crimes Act 1901, and the responsibilities of health practitioners under the Unregistered Health Practitioners Code of Conduct (NSW) that can help them maintain professional boundaries with clients.
