- Abstract
The article presents an analysis on human, press and political rights in Kyrgyzstan during President Almazbek Atambayev's first year in office, who served as Kyrgyzstan's prime minister. Referencing studies such as "When a Democratic Revolution Isn't Democratic or Revolutionary" by E. Freedman, it used in-depth interviews of mass media experts in Bishkek and Osh in May 2012.
