- Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the phase behavior and synthesis of new cholesteric liquid-crystalline copolymers which contain chiral mesogenic groups derived from menthol derivatives. The study confirmed the chemical structures of the compounds using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and H nuclear magnetic resonance (HNMR) spectroscopy. The study has found that all of the derived polymers have good thermal stability.
