- Title
TESTUDINIDAE.
- Abstract
The article reports several sightings of adult serrated tortoises (Psammobates oculifer) in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. It cites that four specimens were seen beginning December 16 and 17, 2008, but photographs were taken starting May 21, 2009 of a dark juvenile serrated tortoise, then on October 1, 2009 of a pale adult tortoise on the same sand ridge. It notes that the photographed sightings are the first records for Zimbabwe and extends the distribution of the species approximately 150 km north-east from the nearest Botswana locality near Nata.
