- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 62-year-old man brought to the Chest Surgery Department of Centre hospitalier universtaire de Sherbrooke due to dyspnoea, weight loss, and dull pain in the left hemithorax. The patient was diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma and thoracoscopy was done to run out and examine the tissues of the pleura. The examined tissues showed a myxoid sarcoma, and posterolateral thoracotomy was conducted to rebulk the friable tumor.
