- Abstract
The article discusses the need of an international peace park on the U.S Mexico border for bio-diversity preservation. Topics discussed include brief history of the threats faced by the desert region and the efforts to protect it, history of the U.S.-Mexico Peace Park creation idea along with threats faced by the Chihuahuan Desert ecosystem and the efforts for its protection. It also discusses the history of the peace park movement and Waterton-Glacier International Park.
