The article presents the discovery of a physical effect known as thermogalvanic voltage (TGV) in a magnetic field, called a Magnetothermogalvanic Voltage. It also describes the discovery of the effects of a sub-atomic process known as spin-flip. The article suggests that this effect could be used as a tool to study spin physics in solids.
