- Abstract
The article focuses on the geodetic system in New Zealand depicting the Survey Mark Advisory Service and urgent work and protection of survey marks. It stresses that damages and distruction are some of the survey control systems in the island. It looks at the idea on the Survey Mark Advisory Service by LINZ depicting geodetic database, which contains approximately 100,000 marks and notes the basis for the land title system and mapping held by local authorities.
