- Abstract
An essay is presented on rebalanced sovereignty, constitutional amendments and the Tea Party movement in the U.S. It mentions the opposition of the said party to bailouts, stimulus packages and health care reform. It notes that their opposed actions are reflected in various proposals to rectify the Constitution including balanced budget requirement, Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendment revocation and veto power on states over federal laws. An overview of the Repeal Amendment is also presented.
