- Abstract
The article discusses the role of Residency Performance Index (RPI) in family medicine. It states that RPI has been created by the Association of Family Medicine Programs (AFMRD) in 2012 to promote residency program quality improvement using metrics specific to family medicine training. The capability of the AFMRD to develop national education offerings and establish advocacy efforts were also mentioned.
