The article focuses on the ethics of health research in communities. It states that a study was done to explore perceptions of rural and urban Hispanic and Native American communities in New Mexico regarding low-risk health research, the adequacy of human research protection processes, and the ethical conduct of community based research. It states that many participants did not believe current human research and data privacy processes were adequate to protect and assist communities.
