- Abstract
An essay is presented on military audiovisual practices which can contribute to emancipation of people along with example of the film "La Commune (Paris, 1871)." Topics include the film made for television oscillating between auteurism and collectivist filmmaking re-enacting Paris Commune in the spring of 1871; the film as an attempt to establish participatory democracy; and bilingualism of film creating scope for participants to experiment with heterogeneous components of moving image.
