- Abstract
Two coordination polymers were hydrothermally synthesized by reaction of 3-(carboxymethoxy)benzene-1,2-dioic acid (H3L) with divalent zinc or cobalt salts in the presence of ancillary nitrogen ligand. Complex 1 features a three-dimensional metal-organic framework with (3,4,4)-connected topology. Complex 2 exhibits a 3D six-connected framework with {412.63} topology based on the [Co4(μ3-OH)2] tetranuclear clusters as nodes. The magnetic properties of complex 2 were also discussed.
