Title
Cowboys, Why They Ride 'Em.
Abstract
This article summarizes the research paper "Personality characteristics of professional rodeo cowboys," by J. C. McGill, J. R. Hall, W. R. Ratliff, and R. F. Moss, in the "Journal of Sport Behavior." In the study, the authors suggest that athletes differ on a variety of personality characteristics from nonathletes, but the differences are sport-specific rather than common to all athletes.
