The offers advice on how to cut costs on press releases. Eliminating a letterhead will save 100 percent on the budget item, but in any case one can still save at least 80 percent. The advantage of typing own camera-ready releases is that the release will be reproduced exactly as it left desk. To save on mailing of photographs witch from labels to preprinted 9/12 envelopes. In quantities of 5,000 or more, printing return address on 9/12 can save at least $32 per 1,000 over the total cost of plain envelopes plus labels and label affixing.
