- Abstract
A power law-based quality function deployment (QFD) is proposed to prioritise technical measures in a decision-making process from the network modelling viewpoint. This power law-based approach inherits the following two major advantages. First, it provides a systematic and amenable description of the target system by investigating the gap between the data and the mathematical model. Second, it can be applied to large models such that huge amounts of data can be used for investigating the integrated behaviour of technical measures in quality function deployment. This power law-based QFD provides quite stable and consistent results in determining the importance of technical measures. Therefore, the power law-based QFD can be used as one of the effective approaches to decision-making processes.
