- Abstract
The article presents an overview of the persistent behavior of spinosad residues on different biotic and abiotic environment components. It outlines the analytical methodologies used for the estimation of spinosad and its metabolism in soil and various crops and veterinary products. It indications the spinosad's high degree of activity against targeted pests and low toxicity to animals and human beings. It notes that the spinosad may be used as an alternative to conventional insecticides.
