- Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of the dropping of the budget for the National Aeronautics & Space Administration's (NASA's) planetary-science in the U.S. James Green, the planetary-sciences division director, states that the dropping of budget would create indefinite delays for both the Mars and Europa missions. Fran Bagenal, a planetary scientist at the University of Colorado, mentions that the dropping of budget creates a big gap between what the decadal survey is planning on.
