- Abstract
The article offers information on optoelectronic circuits provide a bench-top platform to study nonlinear dynamic systems with delayed feedback. An optoelectronic oscillator is a system in which the intensity of a continuous-wave laser is modulated by a nonlinear optical device before being fed into a long length of optical fibre, which introduces delay. Delayed light is detected electronically, and this output is used as an input to drive the manipulationof the laser again. It generates a new output in a periodic manner.
