- Title
The Separation Wall in Palestine: Artists Love to Hate It.
- Authors
Eidelman, Ronen
- Abstract
The article offers information on the artworks documenting, responding, and criticizing the separation barrier being built by the government of Israel in the Palestinian boundaries. It mentions that the painting on the Gilo wall in Israel is an example of the practice of concealment, blocking the view of Bethlehem. In response, Jerusalem contracted artists, such as Mikhail Morgenstern, to decorate its side with murals and paintings which represented only animals and buildings.
