- Abstract
Use in ceramic mixes of aluminum-containing waste containing more than 50% AlO facilitates formation of α-AlO and mullite, which improves object physicomechanical and chemical properties. Use of aluminum-containing waste containing less than 30% AlO does not facilitate formation of α-AlO but promotes mullite formation. Cristobalite does not form with use of aluminum-containing waste with an increased amount of alkali ( RO > 11%), and this has an unfavorable effect on ceramic composite material physicomechanical indices.
