- Abstract
The article discusses the objectives of the inflation targeting in Latin America based on data gathered about it. Topics include an introduction of the use of inflation targeting by countries in Latin America to stabilize their economies financially, the Latin America countries' experiences with inflation targeting during 2000-2012, and an estimation of the monetary reaction function of the country subject using Markow switching.
