- Abstract
The article presents the study which aims to measure the persistence of pesticides such as organophosphate (OP), organochlorine (OC), and carbamate in natural waters of ake in Spain and experimental waters. Insecticide concentrations such as methylparathion and diazinon were dissolved in acetone and OP and OC insecticides were extracted with hexane. Results show that persistence of methylparathion, endosulfan, and lindane was similar in experimental and natural water.
