Research on the Evaluation of Regional Construction Industry's High Quality Development Based on the Portfolio Empowerment Method.

- Abstract
Relying on the new development concept and the high-quality development connotation of the construction industry, an evaluation index system of high-quality development of China's construction industry is constructed from nine dimensions. Integrating the subjective and objective weight calculation methods, an optimal model integrating the G1 method with improved expert credibility and the temporal extreme difference entropy weight method was developed to measure the level of high-quality development of China's construction industry in four major regions from 2009 to 2019 and reveal the regional differences in terms of the high-quality development of China's construction industry. The results show that the overall level of the high-quality development of China's construction industry is not high, and the development scale as well as the stability are the most critical constraints; the eastern region has the highest level of high-quality development of the construction industry, mainly due to its huge scale effect of the construction industry and a higher level of innovation; there is still a big gap between the western and northeastern regions and the eastern and central regions. Accordingly, countermeasure suggestions are given to provide some reference for the high-quality development of China's construction industry.
