- Abstract
The article presents the author's insights on lynching and anti-LGBT violence. The author says that studying lynching has taught her that violence is used to mark who belong and who does not. She states that most of the platform in LGBT struggles is that of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and the differences between the agendas of the LGBT activists of color and the HRC is on on ignoring African American and brown voices. She cites the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP).
