- Abstract
Presents an interview with physician Edward Dees of the Emergency Department of Touro Infirmary Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana. When asked about his experience on the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in the city, he recounts his participation on the evacuation of the patients in the hospital. He states that his house had been burned to the ground after his departure for Camden, Alabama with his relatives. He notes his reasons for coming back to New Orleans to practice his specialization.
