- Abstract
Driven by the post-modern thoughts and teacher's professionalization, the educational narrative inquiry based on the description and analysis of rich educational experience and unique life stories provides a broad research field for teachers to engage in educational research. Professor Chen Xiangming has not only affirmed the suitability of educational narrative and teacher development, but also explored the educational narrative action research in a cross-border way. Professor Wang Nan has had in-depth exchanges with Professor Chen Xiangming around the object, path, characteristic of the educational narrative inquiry and the positive role of the educational narrative inquiry in teacher's professional development, and reached a consensus: the object of the educational narrative inquiry is the educational experience, the path is the cross-border cooperation, and the characteristic is the relationship construction, which makes the educational narrative inquiry an important fulcrum and driving force for teacher's professional development.
